Fun Fact: used to write a humor column called “Frivolous Letters to Royals” for an alternative newspaper at the University of Toronto, The Wa, where I would write various members of European royal families inane letters and then publish my letter along with their (invariably classy) response. As a result, I have an impressive collection of extremely polite letters from royal secretaries, and even a book from the Queen of the Netherlands. I still do not have a sense of propriety, however.
